Not sure if it was this branch but dined here with my wife great value food,found staff very friendly maybe because i speak some french. asked for steak to be done medium perfect 5 star

We just returned from Paris, France yesterday. We wanted to comment on the hippopotamus restaurant located in the OPERA area. We choose this restaurant by chance and was not very pleased. My husband and I ordered two classif burgers, both medium well. My husands burger came EXTREMELY rare. It looked raw in the middle. When we tried to communicate this to the "help staff" -not the waitress, the girl responded in French saying something like, "I cannot understand you, I do not speak English." She then left and did not send anyone else over who could speak English. My husband did not want the risk of eating raw hamburger, so he did not eat his food. Not a good experience and very poor customer service.
