Good to eat somewhere where my partner (meat eater) and myself (Vegan) both enjoyed our meals, and neither felt they were compromising.
Some of the menu - brown rice etc - made me think of austere old style Vegan - Vegetarian menus, rather than the more exciting menus now available in England, so please staff keep aiming more in that direction. Some of the salads are big, and one I noticed being eaten seemed just a little bit heavy on vegetables, if that makes sense, eg lots and lots of grated carrot, without such as a dressing or other interesting ingrediants
Never-the-less,the meal we had was lovely, lots of smoked tofu and salad with pine nuts etc for me, perfect in hot Paris, and a big bowl of French onion soup for my partner, and if we weren't full the cakes looked very attractive and tempting.
Great staff, good location, and I hope to visit again very soon and try more of the menu.

The food was very good, the staff friendly and they gave us good advice too! Shame they don't have more space...

Because Potager du Marais was highlighted on eat-out.net, I decided to trek over to Marais from Montparnasse to try out Potager. The plates of the day a vegetarian shepard's pie and the curry fallafel 'meatballs' served on spinach were both excellent. The servers were very attentive and friendly. Because it's a small restaurant, try to get there early for lunch (and also there's not much space for outdoor dining (only two tables on this very busy street). Some of the dessert dishes may have eggs (so be sure to ask about that if you don't eat eggs). Don't forget to try their soups - very subtle flavors. The prices may be slightly higher than the Aquarius - but this is of course the Marais on the Right Bank which is a super location for strolling and window-shopping. We hope to return to the Potager often. Nice people - worth coming back.

Good value, non-smoking, warm reception. Worth trying even if you're not veggie. The food was delicious!
Bon rapport qualité prix, non-fumeur, accueil chaleureux. Vaut le détour même si vous n'etes pas végétarien (je ne le suis pas). La cuisine est excellente!

Fantastic restaurant, very fresh, organic ingredients, offers vegetarian or vegan food and a good variety of choice. Very well priced, and good service. Small restaurant so definately book or you will be turned away! I can't wait to return
