Don't go. Georges Houel sold the restaurant and it's not the same. Food is remarkably below average for Paris. Sad but the new owner has no clue. I went 5 times over the last 5 years and every time outstanding. Everything was weak this time, menu changed, no more table cloths, TV on all the time. Non merci

A true french bistro. Typical french; oeufs cocottes, boeuf bourguignon...creme brule...
The Host, JOJO is a figure in the european automobile sport. He race major rallie like the Monte Carlo until few years ago. Surronding of original memorabilia of automobile sport, the ambiance is friendly and you could find your self seatted next to the CEO of any major world racing team, or pilot of Formula one, or a figure of the sport in general. JOJO is the best host you could have and what a team . Le volant is part of the friendly Parisian life

Since JOJO Houel, past away at the beginning of the year, the Spirit of Le Volant is no were to be see. With him this restaurant died. A page of a typical french bistro is turn... just the memories will last.
