The food was delicious!!! We were lucky enough to practically have this funky restaurant to ourselves on the Sunday evening of France’s second round of the Presidential Elections so we could really relax and enjoy the food and background music. The service was friendly, helpful and cheerful. Although the menu was only in French, we were able to interpret most of the items listed and when we asked about something we didn’t know, the waitress quickly brought up a photo on her smartphone for us. Then the waitress assisted us with choosing a wine to compliment our mains and we really appreciated her recommendation as it was a lovely wine. The restaurant was quirkily divided into sections by cleverly designed screens so there was a main lounge area, a main dining area (with interestingly decorated concertina mirrors on the walls), and booths for individual parties of four or eight, in addition to the outdoor area for smokers. The soft furnishings were contemporary and comfortable. The background music was a pleasurable mix of lounge style covers and original artists. Two courses and a bottle of mid-priced wine came to just over €125 for two people – and the food, wine, service and venue were worth every Euro. We left feeling full and contented!
