Restaurant La Grange does an excellent fondue Savoyarde. Prices are about average for the Mouffetard area. It can get busy at weekends but never feels uncomfortably crowded. Service is efficient, extremely accommodating and friendly.

Nice food, but it was spoilt by the rude service. We were appreciative and chatty, but this was met with stoney indifference.
When I asked for some milk for my wife's tea I had to ask 3 times and it was eventually banged on the table. As we were paying, the concierge saw the milk and asked angrily why we hadn't used it! We had, of course, but not all of it!
It really was like Fawlty Towers!
If the necessary interpersonal skills were to be developed it would help, but we felt a cultural sea-change was necessary to attract foreign diners.
