At the restaurant "Au Lamparo" (Place de Lenche) in Marseille I had a horrible experience. We were two couples and a child and we went there to have dinner a summer night. During the dinner my friend, while she was eating an octopus salad, felt something in her mouth and she realized it was a hook ! This was very dangerous. We called the lady responsible for the restaurant, but she merely told use she was sorry and she told that, anyway, she had an assurance! But my friend could have died! And what was the assurance useful for, if she had died? Anyway, we went on eating and at the end of the dinner we expected that someone, among the staff, came to tell they were sorry, but nobody did it. At the end, after paying the bill, the responsible come to tell us the she was wrong and..we had to pay an extra amount of 23 euros ! So we started to struggle: I told her she had to be ashamed on her attitude, the rest of the staff come and they started to call us « Fuck..g Italians », « Homeless », « You ate and now you have to pay us », and we ere surrounded by a group of man and women crying at us, violent and vulgar. This was a terrible experience. It wasn't my first time in Marseille, but I want you know that we were in trouble, we were menaced and offended by them, and, personally, I was also afraid: this is the reason why I didn't denounce them to police. We just wanted some excuses....have a look at what happened instead.
