My first visit was a fun experience (hopefully for all concerned?) I was in business in Lille, and had one night to 'do my own thing'. Upon entering the cosy restaurant I soon discovered that my lack of French langauge skills would not be saved by an English menu, as the proprietor was able to speak French or Portuguese! Luckily the friendly diners all 'pitched in' to allow me to make a semi-understandable order for several beers and the mixed BBQ skewers, all of which turned out to be excellent! All in all a very enjoyable meal with great service and an excellent atmosphere.
