I was very disappointed. I ordered white truffle noodles, also known more correctly as Alba-truffle, for 40 Euros, and it was not prepared at the table. The truffle was not fresh. I should have been allowed to smell it to confirm that it was fresh and also that it was in fact a white truffle and not an Asian truffle which is a little beige but could pass for the real thing and could have been substituted. The service was impartial and considering that the restaurant was not very busy, it was lousy. I would not recommend the Piccolo Mondo.
