Claudio Donate and his wife Clementine have recently been awarded an amazing 8 out of 10 by the Italian Gastronomical Society for the quality of their food and service. They are popular both with the locals and visitors from the UK Ireland and Australia. Although a local himself, Claudio spent many years in Scotland, so he speaks excellent English (Scottish) and do many Italians in this area of the Garfagnana. Only 90 minutes from Pisa or Florence, it is well worth a visit with beautiful scenery all the way!
