Value for money
We have eaten here several times, a sign of good food at reasonable prices. It's newly refurbished, very clean and very welcoming. The food is to die for, good portions, excellently cooked and very reasonable prices.
The menu changes as to what is available locally and I was told he have their own kitchen garden. I love desserts and the chocolate dirt is scrumptious, resembling an overturned plant pot, there is chocolate cookies, truffles, popping candy, raspberry coulis, ice cream and other things all topped off with edible flowers........The build your own rhubarb crumble was presented as a tray of freshly poached rhubarb, a bag of cooked crumble and pots if crystallised ginger, sultanas and nuts, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a jug of custard....allowing you to build your own. Portions are generous.
Highly recommended and well worth going out if your way to visit.
