I agree with the first comment. We have eaten at Alberts for over 5 years but in the last couple of years it has gone seriously downhill. It is living off its reputation. Lack of items on the menu (twice in 2 weeks), food arrived at different times was not very well cooked and was not of sufficient quality to justify the price. Staff didn't respond to complaints - won't go again

We have been in Albert's last week, and last year and the year before, excellent service and good home made food. I can not understand the first comments of Albert's, never have been bad in our opinion. This restaurant is really worth a visit..

I always when in the area pay Alberts a visit and have done so for years. We celebrated our engagement there as we think that the service and food are always first class. A great restaurant that is totally unique.

Having just found this site our review of alberts albeit 1 year ago for a 40th suprise party in April everything was fantastic! the food was wonderful the service impeccable the surroundings ambience and staff were all without peer i would wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant for high quality food and stunning surroundings

Very, Very disappointing, beautifull decor, but everything else was terrible, on leaving noticed other restaurant ten metres away was packed. Empyy seats and high prices speak volumes.

Badly affected by the recession.The service is very poor,And very over pricedfor poor food. The decor is lovely. Only four other diners there at 10 pm Sunday 2 May,be warned steer clear
