I recommend Kitchin to anyone who is looing for a value dinning around Kings Cross. Because it is a buffet you don't have to wait, the food is good and the price is eveb better!
All they need to do now is a lunch take-away service!!

Friends and I stumbled across Kitchin N1 when waiting for a train. The restaurant is in very easy walking distance from King's Cross station on Caledonia Street. We were all on a pretty tight budget and wanting different things to eat. We took one look at the menu and were sold! It is a mainly Asian buffet but it also offers Italian dishes for those who do not like stir-fries, curries etc. I have never known a restaurant to do this, it was briliant, especially for a large group who couldn't agree on a restaurant.
The restaurant itself was really quiet, whether this is because they close in the middle of the day I do not know. We were seated straight away and within minutes we all had our beers.
The kitchen is open and in the middle of the seating floor - the smell was just incredible. Again, I think it was because they had been closed - we had to wait for some dishes to be made (but hey, at least we knew they were fresh!).
The food was great and we all left happy. I especially loved being able to have a piece of pizza with stir-fry on the same sitting! - I think I will now always get to the station an hour or so before my train to due to leave!!

Hi, I went eating out there a few times now. The staff there offers a fantastic buffet concept.
This means that you can get a perfect selection of different cuisines (Italian, Chinese, Thai and Indian) and an excellent selection of drinks around an open kitchen, which is located in the middle of the venue.
As we went there, we took the great 50% voucher with us and presented it to the staff. So we really paid a small amount of money, but got a good value for it.
The whole family enjoyed getting together at this lovely place near by kings cross. Best regards
