Having a love of Lebanese cuisine, I thought I would try Laya'Lina having been told from friends that it was the new 'place' to visit, so curious to see what it had to offer, I went along with friends and must say that I was certainly not let down. The menu was nice and varied and it was clearly designed to serve Lebanese cuisine with a modern twist. We started with an order of cold mezze which were fantastic, their coriander topped hommous is something to behold and their muhammarah (ground walnuts with chilli) was simply one of the best I have ever tried. For main course, I went for a lamb shawarma plate which comes with two side sauces of tahini and tomato salsa, both of which complemented the meat very well (worth mentioning that the meat was marinated and spiced perfectly). It being a Saturday night and satified with a good meal, we was informed by the staff that live music and belly-dancing was taking place downstairs, so we went downstairs to main retsaurant to have a look and ended staying for a few drinks having been thoroughly entertained by the both the singing (Arabic and western music) and belly-dancing. Laya'Lina was a great experience, from the fine dining, impeccable service to the fantastic entertainment and I shall definitely be returning!
