I have been at Max 3 years ago, it was a discovery, I will be in Paris on the 29th of May and I assure you I will have a couple of meals in this place, wonderful food and great people, une bonne adresse , Merci M. Max

Don't let the fact that you can't see inside the restaurant which is on the first floor or the unusual entrance (it's like visiting a friends flat on the way in) put you off. This is traditional French cuisine at its best. Superb food. Relax and enjoy.

the food here was magnificent! forget about rude french people. Max and his staff were truly wonderful. Please learn a few french phrases though. A little effort goes a long way in diplomacy. YOu will be well rewarded with wonderful food and Max's suggestions. Forget ordering from the wine list. Let Max and staff serve you the house wine which is soooo wonderful. Bon Appetit!
