Ate at the restaurant tonight January 29, 2012. Our welcome was less than friendly to say the least. We had a coupon to eat there with Groupon and had reserved through the internet. We came the night before and were told that the reservation was not valid as it was not made over the phone and even though we had a printed reservation indicating just that. Coming from Canada, our options for a different time were limited to the next day. We were told to come the next day at 7:15 pm which we did. Upon arrival a little before 7pm, we were told that the restaurant would be open only at 7:30. Temperature outside around the freezing mark! So back outside for another half hour. Coming back we were told that our coupon was not valid... after a short explaination it was finally accepted and were offered to sit down. Now about the food: Menu is simple to say the least. 3 choices of appetizers, 3 main courses and 3 desserts. My wife chose the salad, I chose the stuffed zucchini and eggplant. Both were good but on the smaller portion side of things. Main course, my wife ordered fish (bar in French) and I ordered the linguini with fish. The bar was again rather small and accompanied but a few vegetables not really inspiring. My linguini were ok with a whole lot of 5 microscopic pieces of fish. Desserts came with only 2 choices out of 3, both were good. As far as the service is concerned, one person for 30 guests...clearly insufficient. The couple next to us was not as lucky as we were as they were offered only one type of dessert instead of the 3 possible on the menu, the restaurant being out of the other and it was only 8:30 pm at that time. The table next to our neighbours, ordered after them the desserts and were offered 2 choices...go figure! Coffee came, or so we thought. Without being asked anything, the bill appeared out of nowhere, indicating to us that we were done! same message was given to the table next to ours. Both guests were French and outraged by that kind of behaviour. One single bathroom to be shared both by men and women but no hand towel to dry your hands! We paid roughly 30 Euros total for our 2 meals and it is all what it is worth. In no way I would pay EVER the 96 Euros this would have cost at the regular price. I would not go back there nor would I recommend anyone to go there. Not worth it!
