Chez Janou

Comments for Chez Janou
The French call it 'L'usine à bouffe' - the fast (bad) food factory. Very noisy place. We made a reservation... they didn't respect it and we had to wait for 1 hour before eating something... not so good at all. This is definitely not Provence in Paris !

We have eaten several times at Chez Janou, usually coming in very late on the TGV on A Friday night, reservations are necessary! The decor is brasserie and the atmosphere is really alive and upbeat, so different to Switzerland where we live!
The food has consistently been great value for money! The menu is varied and interesting and cooked beautifully! Chez Janou isn't the Ritz, but I think it's a great authentic local brasserie!

Everything was excellent! Nice atmosphere. Staff was incredibly helpful considering we couldn't speak a word of french. Highly recommended!

The food is absolutely stunning. After my 1st meal there I wanted to eat there every night, but my travel partner wanted to try other places. We ate there three times and each experience was fabulous. My hands down favorite restaurant in Paris.
