This is simply not what it used to be I'm told. A once famous gastronmic spanish restaurant, it closed end of 2008 and just recently reopened under a new owner. The new owner seems bent on keeping everything as it was and decided to simply slash prices by 30%. Something tells me he's compensated for this by purchasing products that are 30% cheaper and certainly not as fresh or refined.

Twice now this culinary experience has been disapointing for me. There is absolutely nothing subtle about the dishes and the way they are prepared. Its fat and greasy and tastes like frozen dinners at best, bad leftovers at worst.

The decor is rustic but is nothing exceptional really. The pattio in the back is a nice escape from the constant hum of vehicles wizzing by. It could almost feel like Spain but you're hearing french all around you. The staff simply doesn't look or feel spanish, nor do they appear to care. They're plenty amiable but seem to know something about the place that they do not want you to find out.

Better and fresher products would be a huge start to getting this place back on track. Atmosphere wise, I'm okay with it as is. Its just my coworkers keep complaining they feel ill when we walk out of there.
